Xbox - Wake up the human

Wake Up the Human is a cinematic campaign for Xbox, co-directed by David Fincher and Romain Chassaing. Set in a surreal, offbeat world populated entirely by humanoid rats, the film follows the story of Horatio, a rat who rediscovers his humanity through the power of gaming.
On this standout project, I was responsible for sculpting and texturing the hero character’s head – Horatio – a pivotal asset throughout the spot. I also created a variety of background rat heads, along with detailed props such as hats, sunglasses, jewelry, speakers, and more to bring this richly textured world to life.
To support the animation team, I sculpted a full set of FACS-based blendshapes, enabling expressive facial performances and helping to bring emotional depth to Horatio’s journey. The models were crafted to film-quality standards, with clean, optimized topology suitable for high-end VFX and intricate animation.
This project was not only an artistic challenge but a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a visually striking, narrative-driven campaign with global reach, directed by one of the most acclaimed names in cinema.
